Bi-Fold Doors repair questions

If they’re sticking, dragging on the track, sagging at the hinge end, or the lock won’t engage cleanly – yes, they need a service. Almost all of those are repairs, not replacements.

Almost always. Aluminium, timber, even heritage steel – we’ve serviced them all. The exception is corroded or extensively damaged frames where replacement is the smarter spend.

Most hardware repairs are a 2–3 hour visit. Replacement panels or major track work is usually a half to one day.

Annual track clean and roller lubricate. Full service every 3 years. Heavy-use cafés/restaurants benefit from 6-monthly service.

Yes – rollers, tracks, hinges, lock keepers, weather seals, individual glass panels can all be replaced without swapping the whole unit.
