Sticking or jamming
Usually grit in the track or worn rollers. Track cleaning + new rollers usually fixes it on the first visit.

Misalignment
House movement can throw the frame out of square. We pack and re-shim, or repair the sub-frame where required.

Damaged rollers
Worn quad rollers cause the binding and noise. We carry OEM replacements for AWS Vantage and Elevate, plus most other major brands.

Faulty locks & handles
Sliding-window handle replacement is one of our highest-volume jobs. We stock the common types.

Bent or worn aluminium track requires partial frame repair. We can usually do it without removing the whole window.

Sliding Windows repair questions
If the frame is straight and undamaged, repair is almost always cheaper than replacement. We’ll do a full assessment on-site, free of charge, and only recommend replacement when the frame itself is past saving (corrosion, severe distortion, or the original spec is beyond modern compliance).
Hardware repairs (rollers, latches, weather seals) are usually completed in a single 1–2 hour visit. Glass replacement is typically next-day to 3 days depending on glass spec.
Yes. 12 months on workmanship, plus the manufacturer warranty on any new parts (typically 5 years on rollers, lifetime on aluminium frame parts).
